Said Rabbah to him (read:) מי סברת מדלין מדלין מיא מאי מדלין שלופי you think this mdallin means you may draw water, it means: to pluck (ref. to Peah VII, 5).Said Rabina to him: והתניא מדלין מים לירקותוכ׳ But it reads, Mdallin mayim you may sprinkle water Part.
